Lemon Basil Spritzer

Recipe
 Serves: 2
Ingredients:
3 Leaves fresh basil
Lemon wedges
125ml Lemon Punch
2 Tablespoons simple syrup (recipe below) or 4-5 drops liquid stevia
½ Cup cold sparkling water
Basil leaves or lemon wedges for garnish
Preparation:
Place a few basil leaves and 2 lemon wedges in bottom of glass, muddle, crushing the lemon wedges and basil together.
Add either simple syrup or stevia drops, and muddle more.
Add Lemon Punch then pour sparkling water into glass.
Add a few ice cubes, and garnish with additional basil and lemon wedges if desired.
Recipe Notes
Simple Syrup Recipe:
Place 1/2 cup water and 1/2 Cup granulated sugar in a pot and bring to a boil, lower and simmer for 6 minutes. Allow to cool.
Replace the sparkling water for a sparkling wine, for an adult alternative.
Use Thai basil instead of regular basil.
