Carrot Ginger Gin
Intro & Description
This delicious punch is no joke. For this ginger-gin punch recipe, carrot punch is combined with ginger liqueur and gin to create a very springy punch that’s easy to whip up and tastes somewhat spicy, but with subtle sweet garden vibes, obviously from the carrots!
It's like a cold-pressed juice and a cocktail all in one!
Recipe
 Serves: 2
Ingredients:
250ml BWG Carrot Punch
45ml Amber Craft Gin
15ml Ginger Liqueur
15ml Lemon Juice
Preparation:
Shake all of the ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker and strain into two short tumblers filled with ice.
Garnish with a standing baby carrot and a sprig of mint.
Recipe Notes
Add some ginger ale to increase the ginger flavour and bring some sparkle to your drink.
Add a 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder to add to the spice of this drink.
Carrots have a natural balance to it, between the sweetness, a little savoury element, and a touch of acidity. You can take a sweet route with this recipe by adding coconut or orange. You can also take a more savoury route with it by adding fennel, sage or anything else green and herbaceous.
