Intro & Description

This mocktail is full of goodness! The benefits of carrots are put to good use in this naturally sweet cocktail with a light spicy touch of ginger! It’s well known that carrots are good for the eyes but did you know they are natural pain relievers as well? Carrots have anti-inflammatory properties which can help ease aching muscles & joints and other inflammatory conditions.

This vibrant combination of vegetable and fruit makes a lively, health-giving drink.

 

Recipe

 Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 250ml BWG Carrot Punch

  • 400ml Apple juice

  • 70ml Ginger syrup (1:1 ration BWG ginger punch / sugar)

  • 25ml Lime juice

Preparation:

  1. Combine ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake with ice. 

  2. Strain into glasses.  

  3. Garnish with a slice of lime. 

 

Recipe Notes

Replace the apple juice with BWG Beetroot Punch for a more earthy tasting drink.

For a sweeter palate, add more ginger syrup (or simple syrup if you are not a fan of ginger) to taste.

Add a banana (frozen or not) for a thicker, creamier drink.

Omit the lime juice if tarty flavours are not your thing.
