Lemon Whiskey Sour

Recipe
 Serves: 1
Ingredients:
30ml Bourbon whiskey
125ml BWG Lemon Punch
1 Tablespoon Maple syrup
Preparation:
Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add all ingredients and shake well for 30 seconds.
Strain into a rocks glass over a few blocks of ice.
Garnish with an orange peel twist and a cocktail cherry stick. .
Recipe Notes
It is recommended that you use Meyer lemons. They are a little sweeter and less acidic than their common grocery store cousins, and have a little more depth of flavor. A softer kind of lemoniness with a faint tangerine tang.
You could replace the maple syrup for a simple syrup made from home. Equal parts sugar and water heated in a saucepan on the stove, until the sugar has dissolved.
