Why not try this recipe for a beetroot punch smoothie with grapefruit, orange, banana and mint: refreshing and delicious!

A delicious and heart-healthy choice.

 

Recipe

 Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 Grapefruit

  • 500ml BWG Beetroot Punch

  • 100ml Orange juice

  • 2 Bananas

  • Ice

  • Mint leaves

Preparation:

  1. Combine the grapefruit segments, Beetroot Punch, bananas, and orange juice in a food processor or blender. 

  2. Blend on high for 2 minutes. 

  3. Stir in the crushed ice and a tablespoon of mint leaves, blending again for a further minute. 

  4. Pour the grapefruit and beetroot smoothie into glasses and garnish with the remaining mint leaves before serving. 

 

Recipe Notes

Different variations of grapefruit such as white, red, and pink grapefruit will produce different flavours. Why not try them all?

This smoothie can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Freezing your bananas ahead of time will give you a thicker, creamier smoothie.
