Cucumber Gimlet
Intro & Description
Cucumber cocktails are the epitome of refreshing: light, summery and hydrating. Gimlets are composed of gin, lime juice and a touch of sweetener. Something magical happens when these basic ingredients are shaken with ice and strained into a glass.
This naturally sweetened cucumber cocktail is perfect for warm days.
Recipe
 Serves: 2
Ingredients:
250ml BWG Cucumber Punch
60ml London dry gin
20ml freshly squeezed lime juice
1 Tablespoon sugar
Preparation:
Add all of the ingredients into a pitcher with some ice and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Strain into 2 glasses.
Add a slice of lime to the rim for garnish.
Recipe Notes
Using martini glasses will give that authentic gimlet feel.
Gin haters, you can substitute vodka, but gin is really lovely with this cocktail.
Substitute basil for mint, and/or add a little splash of elderflower liqueur, and/or muddle some fresh jalapeño with the cucumber.
