Recipe
 Serves: 8
Ingredients:
1L BWG Watermelon Punch
250g Fresh strawberries
200ml White rum
2 Cups ice blocks
Lemonade or Soda water to top up
Preparation:
Add all of the ingredients to a blender except for the ice cubes.
Blend until mostly smooth with a few remaining ice crystals.
Pour 3/4 of the way into 300ml sized jam jars and add lemonade or soda water to top up.
Gently stir each together and add a half of a strawberry slice to the rim.
Recipe Notes
It’s super simple to make, and you can make it ahead of time. You can even serve it in a watermelon punch bowl if you want!
This ratio is heavier on the watermelon and lighter on the strawberries. If you really love strawberries or prefer punch with a bit more “punch”, feel free to adjust the ratios.
You could try equal amounts of each fruit – but you might need to add a little more liquid to the finished product to water it down.
If you’re making this to drink soon, make sure your watermelon punch and strawberries are refrigerated ahead of time, so that the final product needs less chilling.
Microwave each lime (this also works for lemons) for 15 seconds before cutting and juicing, and it will yield more juice.
