Beetroot Brew
Intro & Description
A smoky scotch sour doused with sherry and beetroot punch, which bubbles violently when served in a glass pipe with dry ice. But if special effects in your drink give you the heebie-jeebies, skip them. This Halloween cocktail is just as much of a treat without the tricks.
Beetroot, Lemon, sherry and scotch have never been this scary - or this fun!
Recipe
 Serves: 4
Ingredients:
120ml Peated Single malt scotch
30ml Dry Sherry
500ml BWG Lemon Punch
250ml BWG Beetroot Punch
3 Tablespoons Simple Syrup
Preparation:
Add all of the ingredients except the Beetroot Punch into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake for 30 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into some whiskey tumblers over fresh ice.
Top up with the Beetroot Punch.
Add a small block of dry ice for an eerie Halloween affect.
Recipe Notes
Wait for all of the dry ice to evaporate completely before drinking.
Simple syrup is made when combining a 1:1 ratio of sugar to water. Allow the sugar to dissolve completely, and then allow the mixture to cool completely before use.
If you do not have a sweet tooth, omit the simple syrup altogether.
