Watermelon-Chamomile Mocktail
Intro & Description
Chamomile is an herb that comes from the daisy-like flowers of the Asteraceae plant family. It has been consumed for centuries as a natural remedy for several health conditions. To make chamomile tea, the flowers are dried and then infused into hot water.
A bright and seasonal mocktail that tastes like summer.
Recipe
 Serves: 4
Ingredients:
½ Cup granulated sugar
½ Cup water
½ Tablespoon chamomile leaves
500ml BWG Watermelon Punch
60ml Freshly squeezed lime juice
Ice, for serving
Watermelon wedges, for garnish
Preparation:
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium-high heat.
Bring to a simmer and cook until the sugar has dissolved, 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the chamomile leaves.
Let steep until the syrup has completely cooled, then strain.
In a pitcher, combine the syrup with the Watermelon Punch, lime juice and ice.
Stir to chill, then divide between ice-filled glasses.
Garnish with watermelon wedges and serve.

It is important to infuse the Chamomile leaves correctly for this truly unique taste.
