A twist on the Piña Colada, the Painkiller cocktail is a rich and fruity tropical drink that is a specialty of the British Virgin Islands. Coconut cream, orange juice and pineapple juice join rum in this drink that brings the tropics right to your glass.

Recipe
 Serves: 2
Ingredients:
90ml Rum
250ml Pineapple Punch
Juice from 1 freshly squeezed orange
30ml Coconut cream
Ice
Nutmeg
Toasted coconut (optional for garnish)
Preparation:
In a cocktail shaker, combine the rum, Pineapple Punch, orange juice and coconut cream with ice.
Shake vigorously to mix, then pour into a cocktail glass.
Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
Recipe Notes
In rum-loving tiki fashion, you can also mix two styles of rum. Light and dark rums are a popular combination.
Whatever you choose to pour, it's hard to make a bad Painkiller. You'll find you enjoy some rums better than others, and finding that perfect combination for you is half the fun.
Coconut cream or coconut milk can be substituted for a sweetener like simple syrup.
