Pineapple Margarita

A tropical drink that marries the perfect combination of pineapple, lime and tequila! The sweet pineapple goes hand in hand with the sharp bite of tequila, adding a zing from the lime. With the added flavour of Cointreau, you have yourself a party in a glass!

Recipe
 Serves: 4
Ingredients:
250ml Pineapple Punch
125ml Tequila
65ml Cointreau
65ml Fresh lime juice, from a fresh lime
Kosher salt or flaky sea salt, for the rim
Ice, for serving
Pineapple wedges
Preparation:
Once you have squeezed your lime juice, use the wedge to line the rim of the glass.
Dip the edge of the glass into a plate of salt.
Set aside.
Add the Pineapple Punch, tequila, Cointreau and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice.
Shake until cold.
Strain the mix into the glasses with the salted rims.
Fill the glass with ice and serve.
Add a pineapple wedge to the edge of the glass for that added pizazz.
Recipe Notes
For a spicy combination, add a jalapeño pepper. The heat and tangy brightness of the jalapeño pepper pairs perfectly with the tropical pineapple flavour.
Add the ice to a blender and add to the mixtures for a frozen variation.
