Dark & Stormy
Intro & Description
The Dark and Stormy is a drink that came to be in the Caribbean waters, where rum is plentiful and so are sailors. Officially speaking, it is frowned upon to liven up your Dark and Stormy with lime juice, but we appreciate a layer of citrus.
Dark and Stormy, just like its name!
Recipe
 Serves: 2

250ml Ginger Punch
120ml Dark rum
30ml Lime juice
Preparation:

Garnish with a lime wedge.
Enjoy.
Recipe Notes
If you want this drink in its true Bermudian style, skip the lime.
For this recipe, try and use dark rum. One that is rich and flavorful and preferably from the Caribbean will be best. You want to give this cocktail some oomph and a white rum (even a golden aged rum) will simply not create the same background.
Do not use a spiced rum in a dark and stormy. With the ginger punch, it may ruin the effect and taste of the drink.
