Cherry Lime Red Beet Smoothie

This cherry lime red beet smoothie is the perfect morning starter for summertime. It’s refreshing and it has a beautiful colour thanks to the Beetroot Punch. Cherries are like a summer candy, which make this a delicious drink for anytime of the day!

Recipe

 Serves: 1 Large / 2 Small

Ingredients:

  • 250ml Beetroot Punch

  • 1½ Cups (450g) pitted cherries, fresh or frozen.

  • Juice from 1½ - 2 limes

  • 1 Cup (240ml) almond milk

  • Ice cubes

  • Lime slices for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Add Beetroot Punch, cherries, lime juice and almond milk to a blender.

  2. Add ice.

  3. Blend all ingredients until smooth.

  4. Serve in a large glass.

  5. Garnish with a slice of lime if desired.  

 

Recipe Notes

For a thicker consistency, freeze the cherries and add more ice.

Replace the lime juice with Lemon Punch for a slightly less tart taste.

Almond milk can also be replaced with cocnut milk.
