Vibrant Green Cucumber Smoothie
Intro & Description
This smoothie is rich in fiber, magnesium, iron, vitamins C and E, B vitamins, calcium and potassium. All in all, a WHOLE lot of goodness in a sweet and zesty green glass!
Rich in vitamins and minerals, this is a winning day starter!
Recipe
Ingredients:
250ml BWG Cucumber Punch
1 Cup fresh spinach
½ Green apple (cored)
1cm Fresh ginger (piece, grated)
1 Dash lime juice (optional)
1 Tablespoon honey
1 Cup cold water
Preparation:
Place all ingredients excluding water into the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Recipe Notes
Add more water or Cucumber Punch as desired for a thinner consistency.
Substitute the honey for agave syrup for a vegan friendly alternative.
Adding a ½ cup of yogurt will add a creamy element to this already delicious snack.
The ginger will provide a unique kick, but if you are not a fan, leave this out.
Add some raw bee pollen (non-vegan) to this smoothie. It contains many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it incredibly healthy.
