Spiced Beet Sangria

Try something new with this warm and rich beetroot sangria. With hints of citrus and a little bourbon and cinnamon to spice things up, enjoy the rich beetroot flavour in this classic drink.

Recipe
Ingredients:
500ml Beetroot Punch
1 bottle of red wine
2 Cups apple cider (fresh)
1 Cup soda water
½ Cup Bourbon
½ tsp cinnamon
125ml Ginger punch
125ml Lemon punch
1 Lemon
2 Honey crisp apples
1 Orange
Cinnamon sticks
Preparation:
In a large bowl or pitcher, add the Beetroot Punch and red wine, along with the apple cider, soda water, Lemon and Ginger punch, bourbon and cinnamon.
Leaving the skins on the apples, cut into small pieces.
Cut the orange and lemon into slices.
Add the freshly chopped apples, orange and lemon to the punch mixture. Refrigerate until service (at least 1 hour).
Serve in a large pitcher or punch bowl filled with ice.
Garnish with whole cinnamon sticks
Recipe Notes
Offer individual servings in sugar-rimmed glasses, with an orange slice and a whole cinnamon stick for that extra pizzaz.
Substitute the soda water for lemonade for a much sweeter tasting sangria.
