Ingredients:

  • 250ml BWG Pineapple Punch

  • ½ Medium ripe avocado peeled & pitted

  • 2 Cups spinach

  • 2 Cups frozen pineapple chunks

  • 1 to 2 Tablespoon honey or agave or to taste

Preparation:

  1. Add your ingredients to the blender in this order: Pineapple Punch, avocado, spinach and frozen pineapple chunks. 

  2. Blend until smooth 

  3. Turn off the blender and add honey or agave to taste then blend until well incorporated. 

  4. Pour into two glasses and garnish with a slice of pineapple on the side of the glass.  

Recipe Notes

If you don’t have spinach on hand, try another green such as kale.

You can finish off this Pineapple Avocado Green Smoothie with some almonds and chia seeds – to give it an extra nutritional punch.

You could add ice to this smoothie for a thinner consistency.  For something creamier, go down the coconut or other nut milk route.
