Lemon-Cherry Soy Smoothie

Intro & Description

This lemon- cherry and banana blend is particularly good. The banana gives it added creaminess so that you don’t have to use as much soy yogurt, but it doesn’t impart a lot of banana flavor. Sweet cherries and a tangy lemon flavor balance each other out in this delicious low-fat smoothie that's rich and creamy.

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup plain soy yogurt

  • 250ml BWG Lemon Punch

  • 1 Banana

  • Sweetener (to taste, optional)

  • 1 Cup black cherries (frozen sweet)

Preparation:

  1. Put the yogurt, banana, and sweetener (if using) into the blender, and process until liquified.  

  2. Add the cherries and the Lemon Punch and blend until smooth and creamy.    

Recipe Notes

If you are unable to find black cherries, prepare this recipe using frozen unsweetened strawberries instead.

Freeze your banana ahead of time if you would prefer a thicker smoothie in texture.
