Lavender Lemonade

Recipe
Ingredients:
6 Cups water (still / sparkling)
½ Cup light-colored honey
5 Tablespoons dried lavender
250ml BWG Lemon Punch
Preparation:
Bring water and honey to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Gently crush the lavender in a mortar and pestle or in a bowl with a meat tenderizer. Add the crushed lavender to the pot then remove it from the heat.
Cover, refrigerate, and steep for 2 hours.
Strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve.
Stir in the lemon juice and serve over ice.
Recipe Notes
Lavender is edible, though English lavender and Provence lavender are most often used for culinary purposes. Here’s the tip with lavender: it doesn’t take much. Use it sparingly, like rosemary, which could also be used as a substitute for lavender in this recipe.
Use still or sparkling water - depending on your preference.
