Ginger Lemon Mocktail

Spicy ginger punch, tart lemon punch topped with sparkling water. It’s a refreshing summer beverage perfect for a warm evening.

Ingredients:

  • 250ml BWG Ginger Punch

  • 250ml BWG Lemon Punch

  • 250ml Soda water

  • Ice

Preparation:

  1. Rub the rim of the glasses with the sliced ginger. 

  2. Mix the Ginger and Lemon Punch, and pour into 4 glasses. 

  3. Place a few ice cubes in each glass and pour over the ginger and lemon juice. 

  4. Top with soda water and garnish with a ginger slice. 

Recipe Notes

For a sweeter tasting mocktail, add a teaspoon of honey, agave or simple syrup to this recipe.

Add a fun ginger slice to the top of each glass.

  1. Slice a ginger root coin into slivers.

  2. Heat some sugar, water, and the ginger slivers over medium high heat, stirring until the sugar melts. Let boil for about 20 minutes, until the syrup begins to thicken. Remove from heat, strain the ginger slivers out, let cool.

  3. Lay the ginger slivers on a baking sheet to cool. After about 5 minutes, toss with about a tablespoon of sugar. Let cool.
