Citrus Carrot & Ginger Mocktail

Bright citrus flavors combined with fresh carrot punch. A bright healthy mocktail full of vitamin A, C, potassium and a surprising little kick of ginger.  A perfect mocktail to brighten any morning.

This mocktail is a simple drink which is tasty and will also quench your thirst this summer.

Ingredients:

  • 250ml BWG Carrot Punch

  • 2 Oranges

  • 2.5cm Piece of ginger / 125ml BWG Ginger Punch

  • 2-3 Teaspoons sugar or honey adjust to taste

  • Ice cubes

  • Soda water or sparkling water

Preparation:

  1. Peel and cut the orange and ginger into pieces. 

  2. Place Carrot Punch, orange and ginger into a blender along with sugar, water and some ice cubes. 

  3. Blend until smooth. 

  4. Strain the mixture, press it with a spatula or spoon to extract the juice completely. Discard the solids. 

  5. Pour the mixture into glasses till ⅔ full. 

  6. Add soda / sparkling water to fill the remaining glass. 

  7. Serve chilled

Recipe Notes

Cut down on the fresh ginger / BWG Ginger Punch if you do not like it’s taste. The flavor of ginger with carrots and oranges is amazing, but adjust according to your love for ginger.

Adding sugar / honey to this mocktail is up to you. If the carrot punch and oranges are really sweet for your taste you may not need to add any sweetener.

Substitute the soda water / sparkling water for something like Sprite, if you are looking for more sweetness in your fizz.
