Bourbon Beet-It

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Bourbon

  • 250ml BWG Beetroot Punch

  • 1 dash of Bitters

      

Preparation:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. 

  2. Shake until well chilled and pour into a whiskey tumbler. 

  3. Garnish with a couple of cherries on a large toothpick. 

Recipe Notes

Take your cocktail to the next level by spicing up your garnish. Try some spiced cherries.

In medium saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar, ½ cup beetroot punch, 1 stick of cinnamon, ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a low simmer, stirring until sugar is fully dissolved.  Remove from heat and add 1 cup of bourbon, and stir to combine.  Add 450g stemmed and pitted cherries and stir until coated with syrup.  Let cool to room temperature and then refrigerate before serving.
