Beetroot Sunrise Breakfast Smoothie

This healthy, vibrant beetroot and strawberry smoothie is perfect for breakfast! Called “Beetroot Sunrise” it will brighten up your morning and get it off to a good start!

Beets have a bit of an earthy flavor, but adding citrus and berries makes a winning combination.

Ingredients:

  • 250ml BWG Beetroot Punch

  • 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries

  • 1 Orange (peeled and segmented)

  • ½ cup coconut milk

  • 2 medium carrots (scrubbed well and chopped)

Preparation:

  1. Place everything into blender and puree until smooth.  

  2. Add more coconut milk if required. 

  3. Garnish with raspberries. 

Recipe Notes

Use BWG Carrot Punch in place of the fresh carrots - so much easier!

You can use any milk for this recipe, although coconut milk works really well!

Add a few blueberries for a true berry explosion.

Adjust this recipe to your desired consistency.
