Beet and Honey Cocktail

This stunning cocktail combines the earthy sweetness of the root vegetable, beetroot, with whiskey, honey and lemon. Add a touch of tarragon for garnish and you have a cocktail that not only looks gorgeous but tastes great too!

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Whiskey

  • 150ml BWG Beetroot Punch

  • 100ml BWG Lemon Punch

  • 2 Tablespoons Honey Syrup

Preparation:

  1. Make honey syrup by combining 3 parts honey to one part water. 

  2. Heat gently and stir in a saucepan until combined. 

  3. Leave to cool. 

  4. Combine the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with some ice. 

  5. Strain into a short stemmed glass and garnish with a sprig of fresh tarragon.

Recipe Notes

Replace the whiskey for a nice rum, if desired.

If you are not a huge tarty fan, reduce the amount of lemon punch used, and replace with beetroot punch.

Omit the honey syrup if you prefer a less sweet drink.
