Mixing arak with beetroot punch, mint and citrus over ice. Beetroot provides the perfect baseā€”not to mention a gorgeous, intense color. To add savoury tanginess to this cocktail, feel free to garnish with a sprinkle of goat cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Arak or Anise Liqueur

  • 250ml BWG Beetroot Punch

  • 125ml BWG Lemon Punch

  • 1 Tablespoon Simple Syrup

  • 4 Mint Leaves

  • Crumbled Goat Cheese (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. 

  2. Strain into some rocks glasses over fresh ice. 

  3. Garnish with a sprig of mint and crumbling of goat cheese (optional for savoury). 

Recipe Notes

Simple syrup is made by combining a 1:1 ratio of sugar and water. Heat the mixture and allow the sugar to dissolve. Leave to cool completely before use.

The goats cheese garnish is optional and dependent on taste.
