Awesome Froot Oat Smoothie
Intro & Description
This is a fast smoothie with a deep pink color and a rich, creamy texture. VERY filling, and perfect for people in a rush in the morning. This smoothie is made with oats, yogurt, and fresh fruit and therefore has a thick, creamy texture.
You don't have to give up a good breakfast when it's this fast to make!
Recipe
Ingredients:
500ml BWG Froot Punch
150ml Natural yogurt
3 Small bananas, thickly sliced
400g Strawberries
Juice of 1 orange
1 - 2 Tablespoon honey or agave nectar
1 Cup ice
2 Handfuls of oats, plus extra to scatter
Preparation:
Put everything in a blender and whizz until smooth.
Pour into 4 glasses and serve scattered with a few extra oats on top as garnish.
Recipe Notes
For a thicker consistency, freeze the banana and strawberries before hand.
Replace the yogurt and honey for vegan alternatives if preferred.
Add 1/4 cup chopped nuts, such as almonds or walnuts, for a more nutty tasting, filling meal.
