24 Carrot Cocktail
Intro & Description
If you are looking for a beautiful cocktail to make for Easter or a spring soiree, hop to it and shake up this 24 Carrot Cocktail! Carrot punch may seem like an unconventional ingredient for mixing into cocktails. However, they add such a beautiful orange color.
With some kick from the spicy ginger and creamy egg white it’s a great way to add some spring flavours into your cocktails!
Carrots create a nice earthy yet sweet flavour that is pleasantly delightful in this boozy drink.
Recipe
Ingredients:
250ml BWG Carrot Punch
45ml Vodka
¼ Fresh ginger peeled and sliced
Freshly squeezed juice from half of a lemon
1 Tablespoon of simple syrup
1 Egg White
Preparation:
Add the ginger to a cocktail shaker and muddle well to release the flavour.
Add the rest of the ingredients and dry shake for 30 seconds.
Next add some ice blocks into the shaker and mix for another 15 seconds.
Strain into 2 coupe glasses.
Garnish with a couple of mini carrots and edible flowers on a cocktail skewer.
Recipe Notes
Add some ginger ale in place of the fresh ginger for a fizzy alternative. Otherwise, just add some Sparkling Water / Sprite to the above recipe.
Adjust the vodka to taste, or swap this out for your favourite gin / rum.
Switch the lemon to lime for a different type of citrus flavour.
Replace the egg white for 2 tablespoons of Aquafaba for a Vegan alternative.
